Golf is not like other ball games. It does not have a standard playing area. It is difficult to adapt to the different terrains of every course. Courses generally have nine or 18 holes. regions of terrain that each have a cup, in which the hole receives the ball. Each hole has a teeing ground to start from and a putting space that contains the cup. There are several types of terrain that lie between the green and the tee. These include the fairway, rough (high grass) and other hazards such as the bunters filled with sand. Each hole on a course is unique to its own layout.Golf is played to the smallest number of strokes per player or team, referred to as stroke play or the score that is the lowest on all holes of a round, whether by an individual or a team, also known as match play. Stroke play, particularly preferred by the elite is the most well-known format.
